SBS offers study routes involving UK awarding organisations, including Qualifi and ATHE. The awarding organisation, qualification and progression options depend on the programme you choose.
Qualifi
Qualifi is an awarding organisation recognised by Ofqual, the regulator of qualifications in England. Its qualifications are delivered through approved centres.
ATHE
Awards for Training and Higher Education offers Ofqual-regulated qualifications across subjects including business, management, accounting, law and computing, with routes towards further study.
For your chosen course, ask us to confirm the exact award title, awarding organisation, credit value, any optional qualifications and the requirements for university progression.

A level describes the difficulty of a qualification. Qualifications at the same level can differ in size, content and purpose.
- Level 3
- Includes A levels and Level 3 diplomas, providing preparation for higher-level study.
- Level 4
- Includes Higher National Certificates and Level 4 diplomas.
- Level 5
- Includes Higher National Diplomas, foundation degrees and Level 5 diplomas.
- Level 6
- Includes bachelor’s degrees and Level 6 diplomas.
- Level 7
- Includes master’s degrees, postgraduate diplomas and Level 7 diplomas.
A diploma at the same level as a degree is not automatically a complete degree. Top-up study and admission depend on the qualification and the receiving university’s requirements.
