WORKSHOPS & DISCUSSION

Our workshop approach connects business with human behaviour, society and the environment. Students are encouraged to examine ideas, challenge assumptions and consider the wider effects of decisions.
Topics explored in past workshops include:
- Mass psychology, persuasion and manipulation in business
- Media power, information and its influence on business
- Population growth, poverty and economic life
- Global finance, debt and their effects on people
- Corporate concentration, shopping centres and speculative business
- Climate change, environmental damage and business
- Conflict, its human origins and its economic consequences
- Psychology, leadership and the impact of people in power
Optional modules may offer opportunities to earn additional credits. Ask about the modules, assessment and credit arrangements available within your programme.

See how
the world works.
Visits to businesses and organisations bring classroom ideas into a working environment. They offer a chance to look at how products are made, services are delivered and teams work together.
