Develop your English with Schellhammer Business School through an online course covering speaking, listening, reading and writing. Build your vocabulary and strengthen your grammar, spelling and punctuation through familiar topics and practical communication.
The course is best suited to learners who can already hold a basic conversation in English and want to develop their skills further.

Each module includes 10 guided learning hours and five hours of optional exercises, reading, online resources and self-testing activities. Your completion time depends on your study routine.

The first nine modules combine listening and speaking with reading and writing. The final module introduces IELTS exam preparation.

Develop vocabulary for social and political topics, and practise finding and understanding news across print, broadcast and online media.

Explore workplace vocabulary and communication, including emails, voicemail and choosing between formal and informal language.
04 · Health and fitness
Learn language for health and fitness, and practise following and taking part in conversations with several speakers.
05 · Citizenship and politics
Practise expressing your views on local issues and expand your vocabulary for citizenship and politics.
06 · Crime and punishment
Build vocabulary around crime and punishment while developing your ability to follow discussions.
07 · The environment
Explore environmental vocabulary and develop your reading and writing through letters and emails.
08 · Technology
Practise listening through conversations about buying technology for the home and discussing social media habits.
09 · Science and education
Develop vocabulary for science and education, and practise listening to discussions on these topics.

Explore exam requirements, example question types and practical advice to support your preparation.

Interactive modules and audio clips help you connect language with situations you recognise. Practise understanding what you hear, expressing an opinion and finding the right words for work, study and everyday life.
