The requirements below describe the SBS Foundation, Bachelor and Master programmes. Online diploma pathways and specialist courses have their own requirements; check the individual course page or speak with admissions.

Entry: Minimum age 17. A high school diploma or equivalent is not required.
Study credits: 12 subjects at 4 credits each, totalling 48 credits, plus 6 credits for special educational events and 6 for the final project: 60 credits in total.
Completion: A private diploma in practical knowledge and skills, described by SBS as high-school-grade equivalent. Ask admissions about its suitability for your intended progression.
Entry: Minimum age 18, with an IB, A-level, high school or equivalent diploma.
Study credits: Modules run for 13 weeks. Credit hours reflect weekly teaching time: a 2-credit-hour module meets for 2 hours each week. Students also undertake approximately 1–2 hours of private study and preparation per credit hour.
Completion: A private Bachelor qualification focused on science-based knowledge and skills. SBS describes these qualifications as non-government-regulated; confirm recognition for your intended employment or further study before enrolling.
Entry: Previous undergraduate studies or a similar academic diploma. Applicants with professional experience may also be considered at the discretion of admissions.
Study credits: 15 modules, totalling 60 credits.
Completion: A private Master qualification focused on advanced, science-based knowledge and skills. SBS describes these qualifications as non-government-regulated; confirm recognition for your intended employment or further study before enrolling.
SBS also describes undergraduate academic workload using the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS): a standard academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS, representing approximately 1,500–1,800 study hours. Credit descriptions do not by themselves guarantee recognition or transfer; ask admissions about your specific programme.
Relevant courses completed at another school, college or university can be evaluated for transfer into an SBS programme.
Transfer applicants should provide transcripts from their previous institutions so that courses and credits can be reviewed. Letters of recommendation are not required for transfer students.
The admissions team can explain which stage may be appropriate and what study remains after the evaluation.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year, with main starting dates in October and February. Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so applying early is encouraged.
Allow 3–5 working days for application processing. Ask admissions to confirm availability and the entry date for your chosen programme.
SBS encourages non-EU applicants to apply approximately 2–4 months before their preferred starting date to allow time for any required visa process. This is planning guidance, not a guaranteed processing time.
Contact international admissions for support and confirm current visa requirements with the relevant embassy or consulate. Admission to SBS does not itself guarantee a visa. If your visa is delayed, discuss postponing to the next available starting date with admissions.
